Tioga County Health Survey

Tioga County Public Health is conducting a Community Health Assessment (CHA).  One of the most important pieces is the health needs assessment or survey of the residents.  If you are a Tioga County resident, please click here to take the survey.

Two shots vaccinated Americans are 14 times less likely to die of COVID-19 than those who haven’t gotten the shots.  Boosted Americans are 97 times less likely.

Researchers estimate that between 10% and 30% of those infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus experience long COVID symptoms (though it appears to be less likely among vaccinated people). … Long COVID can even affect individuals who initially experienced only mild disease and perhaps even those who were asymptomatic despite testing positive for infection.
