The Village of Owego's EMS Department is in need of a full-time ALS provider, either critical care (EMT-CC) or paramedic (EMT-P).

Masks prevent you from getting or spreading colds, flu, RSV, pneumonia, and COVID-19.  Vacinations keep you from ending up in the hospital from these respiratory diseases. You can get the disease, but your acquired immunity fights it off quickly.  Do both.  Wear a mask and get vacinated against flu, pneumonia, and COVID-19.

Researchers estimate that between 10% and 30% of those infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus experience long COVID symptoms (though it appears to be less likely among vaccinated people).… Long COVID can even affect individuals who initially experienced only mild disease and perhaps even those who were infected but had no symptoms.
